Neal Fann
Biography
Neal is research scientist and PhD student in the Curtin University School of Population Health, serving within the WHO Collaborating Centre for Climate Change and Health Impact Assessment. Prior to joining the Centre, Neal served for over 20 years as a risk assessor and epidemiologist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he co-developed the environmental Benefits Mapping and Analysis Program at the US EPA, an open-source tool used worldwide to quantify the number and economic value of climate and air pollution-related deaths and illnesses. Neal also developed many of the methods EPA used to quantify and monetise the impacts of air pollution and climate change.
