Cardiologist
Kazuaki Negishi is Professor of Medicine, and Head of Discipline of Medicine at Sydney Medical School Nepean, in Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. He is a current National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tasmania. Clinically, he is a Board-Certified Cardiologist in Japan and Australia, currently practicing at Nepean Hospital, NSW. He had his Cardiology training and PhD in Japan. He spent three years in Cleveland Clinic, OH, USA to peruse his academic interest before he came to Australia. He worked at Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania as Senior Research Fellow and led the Echo lab at Royal Hobart Hospital as a practicing cardiologist.
