Dr Richard Broome

Biography

Dr Richard Broome is a public health physician and a staff specialist at Northern Sydney Local Health District. He was previously the Director of Environmental Health at the NSW Ministry of Health and a member of enHealth. Richard has extensive experience in the design and implementation of environmental health policy and in the public health response to environmental incidents and emergencies. He played a leading role in the development and use of health impact assessment methods to inform air quality policy in Australia and has been directly involve in the review of national air quality standards.
